    Pour milk in a thick bottom stainless steel vessel. Add sugar and rice then stir.

    Cook in either instapot or pressure cooker (a) Instapot: 20 mins. When pressure is gone switch to sautee mode with lid open. Keep stirring for 5 mins till it boils well. (b) Pressure cooker: Cook for 2 whistles and then lower the flame. Let the cooker be on simmer for 15 mins.

    If method b is followed then after pressure is released, Place on stove. Keep on medium fire till the milk boils. Stir occasionally so that the milk does not burn.
