    Steam/Pressure Cook Beetroot and Carrot (10 mins). Then peel and dice.

    Heat oil, add mustard seeds, hing, urad daal and red chile. Add salt. Sautee for a minute.

    Add beet root and carrot, cook for 2-3 minutes. Second method: If veg is not pressured cook, then add the diced vegetables to the seasoning. Add salt. Add little water. Cover the pan. Mix them and cook till veg turn soft.
